At any point (A) draw a circle of any size. Find any point on the circumference (B) and draw a circle with the same radius (AB).

Continue around drawing a circle at any new intersection on the circumference (C etc.). Find points D & E, connect them with a straight line to divide the circle in half. Find points F & G and mark them.

Draw circles with the same radius on points G & F. Find & Mark HIJK.

Connect H &K and I & J through the centre. Extend AB.

Draw the squares on the circumference of the circle. Where the two squares intersect, Find points Q R S T U V W & X. Connect R & V, S & W, T & X, U & Q through the centre and extend them to complete 16 divisions.

Find Y. Draw a circle with centre a and radius AY. Find Z , Aa, Bb & Cc. Connect Z & Aa, Z & Bb, then Cc & Bb, Cc & Aa. Find Dd. Draw a circle with centre A and radius Dd. Find Ee and Ff, connect them to find Gg. Draw a circle with centre A and radius AGg.

This is the basic structure of all 4 fold flowers, you can use this as a blueprint to create any number of unique flower designs. Use 1 for the outer petals, 2 for any inner petals or effects, 3 /4 for the stamen area, 4 / 5 for the pistil area.
